Goal : To prepare unlicensed staff to safely administer medications under the delegation of a Registered Nurse in DDA, and Community -based programs. The course is regulated through Maryland board of nursing (MBON). Our instructor is approved by MBON. As required by MBON, student must successfully complete a 20-hour medication administration training program involving acquiring skills as well as content knowledge. Upon successful completion of the training and submission of the medication technician application for certification to the Board, an individual may function as medication technician under the delegation and supervision of the registered nurse, case manager/delegating nurse for no more than 90 days while awaiting certification by the Board. Students are expected to recertify every 2 years on or before their birthday. We run classes twice a month
Our course outline is designed by American Heart Association. Our instructor specifically simplified the course for student who is taken CPR/AED course for the first time. Contents of this class are delivered bearing in mind the variation in the student profession-Coaches, babysitters, teachers, lifeguards, students, or anyone that requires CPR Certification. The course will take approximately two hours to complete and the course material will be given to you for review and get updated at your convenience.

This has been updated with the latest American Heart Association’s ECC 2010 guidelines. AHA video demonstration will takes you through the CPR and AED procedure, step by step. Our AHA certified RNs will then do hands-only CPR demonstrate face-to-face with student. Our instructor will explain what you need to know, provides you with on the spot answers to your questions and explain the rationales for every steps.
You can also play the demonstration video as many times as you need at the end of class.
Class is designed for student previously certified in CPR/AED. At the end of course student will renew any prior certification, even one that has expired. The course content for this program is provided by American Heart Association. The course is carefully designed to teach healthcare providers; Doctors, Dentists, Nurses, Safety Personnel Police, Ambulance, Athletic Trainers, Professional Rescuers, Emergency Response teams, etc. the skills to resuscitate in real emergency situation. This course covers all materialsin American Heart Guidelines for the Professional Rescuer. We follow the American Heart Association’s ECC 2010 guidelines for Healthcare Providers. A step-by-step video demonstration of all “hands-on” techniques for CPR and the use of an AED will be played. This video can be played over and over again for review. Then, our AHA certified RNs will demonstrate the technique one-on-one with each student.
To prepare students to safely feed individuals at risk for choking or with swallowing difficulties. This training also emphasizes diet textures, liquid consistencies, and the signs and symptoms of aspiration.This class is designed to teach.
Injuries are the number one health problem for children in the US. From simple cuts and bruises to life-threatening emergencies, this course will cover the IMMEDIATE help given by an adult, usually a caretaker, to a child who is injured or experiences sudden illness, until appropriate help arrives or the child is seen by a healthcare provider. The course covers First Aid, Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens as well as CPR and the use of an AED.
Students will demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to, recognize, prevent and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until Advanced Medical Personnel arrive.
The content of this class is provided by American Heart Association. The course will expose student to specialized training required in various first aid responses to an emergency situation. The course will equip student with the skill and knowledge to administer basic first aid to adults, children, and infants in the classroom setting. Our trained instructors will provide one-on-one teaching attention to student who required special attention without extra cost. Student will have opportunity to be evaluated with a quiz at the end of the course. Student will be able to go back and review any portion of the material that you would like in order to maintain the material as best as possible.
